*) if you have something to announce or list, such as seeking collaborating musicians, something for sale or exchange, or you need a ride somewhere, etc., PLEASE do not post a discussion on this. There is a section for *** Listings *** below our Discussion Topics, where your listing is ~*~ welcome ~*~ and will get more exposure.

These sections have been especially created to keep listings/requests like these concentrated/focused, and as specific as possible, so that everyone looking for something like this can all go to just one space.
Many music tribes on this site have nothing but PROMO promo PROMO on EVERY single line/topic, without conserving any space ...
We don't want that to happen in our tribe ... otherwise people will stop coming/joining to read and contribute to REAL/interesting discussions ... it turns people off to see tribes full of sales pitches ... and frankly, we feel badly enough that we now also have to put up with ad banners in our discussions (please feel free to add to the PROTEST (dated 26Aug05) if you agree).
~*~ We're trying to do our best to be fair in discouraging as much advertising/marketing as possible, and ENCOURAGE sharing, fun, and participation without the invasion of unsolicited ads. We appreciate your understanding ~*~
~*~ We also encourage new members to check out and contribute/revive our over 127 (at the moment) topics ... many are QUITE interesting and we always LOVE and welcome fresh perspectives !!!
